Admission Process:
- For BTech admission, candidates must appear for an entrance exam conducted by the University. JEE qualified candidates can apply directly without appearing in the entrance exam conducted by the University.
- Admission to B Pharm is based on the scores obtained in Jharkhand Paramedical Test (JPT) conducted by Jharkhand Pharmacy Council, DPharm admission is based on merit in the last qualifying examination.
- For PhD admission is offered based on merit as well as scores obtained in GATE/UGC/NET/SLET/CSIR NET.

Scholarship 1
Udaan : To offer On the SPOT admissions to students living in remote areas of Jharkhand. It is a free Career Counselling sessions for school students covering 102 schools across 24 districts of Jharkhand.
Scholarship 2
Aarohan: To offer scholarships to SC, ST, OBC, and other underprivileged students about various schemes and projects that are focused on higher education for them.
Scholarship 3
DreamZ is an initiative that provides scholarships to underprivileged girls. girl students are given a full scholarship for the entire course duration to study for Bachelors and Masters Degree programs.
Placement:
Top recruiting companies like TCS, PNB MetLife, Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Horizon Honda, IndiGo, Kotak Mahindra bank, etc., visit the college for placements.
JRU has collaborations with IIT Bombay and the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
