As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the Reserve Bank of India has not issued any two rupee notes in recent years. The two rupee note was first introduced in India in 1947 and had several subsequent versions over the years. However, the production and circulation of two rupee notes have been discontinued.

Currently, the two rupee denomination is available in the form of coins. These coins are made of various materials, such as brass, nickel, and stainless steel. The design of the two rupee coin features the national emblem, the Lion Capital of Ashoka, on the obverse side, and the denomination and year of minting on the reverse side.

It's worth noting that currency-related information may change over time, and new developments could have occurred since my last update. Therefore, it's advisable to consult the Reserve Bank of India or other reliable sources for the most up-to-date information on the availability and circulation of specific denominations.
