Ram mandir in Ayodhaya 

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the Ram Mandir issue in Ayodhya, India, had seen significant developments. The Babri Masjid, a mosque built in the 16th century, was demolished in 1992, leading to a long-standing dispute over the land. The dispute was primarily between Hindu and Muslim communities, with Hindus claiming that the site was the birthplace of Lord Ram and demanding the construction of a Ram temple.

In 2019, the Supreme Court of India delivered a landmark judgment, ruling in favor of the construction of a Hindu temple at the disputed site. The court also directed the government to allocate an alternative plot of land to the Muslim community for the construction of a mosque. The government subsequently set up a trust called the "Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra" to oversee the construction of the Ram temple. Since then, efforts have been underway to build the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The Ram Mandir is a Hindu temple  in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is located at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, the hypothesized birthplace of Rama, a principal deity of Hinduism.The inauguration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is scheduled for January 22, 2024. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has officially confirmed the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the auspicious day of the temple's inauguration.

About the Ram Mandir 

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, here are some facts about the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya:

1. Supreme Court Judgment: The construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya gained momentum after the Supreme Court of India delivered a historic judgment on November 9, 2019. The court ruled in favor of the construction of the Ram temple on the disputed site in Ayodhya.

2. Babri Masjid Demolition: The Ram Mandir issue was rooted in the demolition of the Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992. The mosque, built in the 16th century, was situated on the disputed land claimed by Hindus as the birthplace of Lord Ram.

3. Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra: Following the Supreme Court judgment, the Government of India established the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to oversee the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The trust is responsible for fundraising and managing the entire project.

4. Alternative Land for Mosque: In its verdict, the Supreme Court also directed the government to allocate an alternative piece of land to the Sunni Waqf Board for the construction of a mosque. This was aimed at fostering communal harmony and resolving the long-standing dispute.

5. Donations and Fundraising: The construction of the Ram Mandir involves extensive fundraising efforts. Devotees from across India and the diaspora have contributed financially to support the temple's construction. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been actively involved in collecting donations.

6. Architectural Plans: Various architectural plans and designs for the Ram Mandir have been proposed. The temple is expected to be an architectural marvel, symbolizing the cultural and religious significance of Lord Ram in Hinduism.

Senior advocate and Bar Council of India (BCI) chairman Manan Kumar Mishra wrote in his letter, stating "As you are aware, the inauguration of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is set for January 22, 2024.

Ram Mandir is matter of faith & belief, do not expect a huge temple right now. Camera,Mobile , medicine , tobacco , Match Box etc. are not allowed in Temple.

By Air: The nearest airport to Ayodhya is the Ayodhya Airport (FAZY), also known as the Maryada Purushottam Sriram Airport. However, the airport has limited connectivity, and most travelers prefer using the airports in Lucknow or Varanasi. From these airports, you can hire a taxi or use other local transportation to reach Ayodhya.

By Train: Ayodhya has its own railway station, Ayodhya Junction (AY). It is well-connected to major cities in India. From the railway station, you can take a taxi, auto-rickshaw, or other local transportation to reach the Ram Mandir.

By Road: Ayodhya is well-connected by road to various cities in Uttar Pradesh and other parts of India. You can use state-run buses, private buses, or hire a taxi or cab to reach Ayodhya. The road network is generally good, making it a convenient option for many travelers.

Local Transportation in Ayodhya: Once you reach Ayodhya, you can use local transportation options like auto-rickshaws, cycle-rickshaws, or hire a taxi to reach the specific location of the Ram Mandir. Ayodhya is a relatively small city, and local transportation is readily available.
